Beginning with Tone Vigeland’s early works in the tradition of Scandinavian design, and on to the sculpture of recent years, this artist’s monograph presents an œuvre spanning nearly fifty years. The book design uses two paper stocks, alternating between cream uncoated material for the essays, and matt art paper for the photographs. Clusters of type at the base of the page echo the textured forms prominant in Vigeland’s work.
